Our board is comprised of community members with a keen knowledge about the mental health needs of our population, and a vested interest in promoting mental health and access to services within the region.

Interested in Volunteering?
The members of our volunteer board represent the wider community that we live in. They are uniquely positioned to recognize and respond to the mental health needs of our community through their skills in advocacy, fundraising, event planning, communication, coordination, and networking.
We are currently in need of assistance with:
Administrative Support:
Documenting and monitoring counselling coverage requests, sending confirmation letters, thank-you letters to donors, completing meeting minutes, etc.
Finance:
Tracking donations, overseeing bill payments, monitoring invoiced session fees.
Grant Writing:
Researching and completing funding applications wherever possible with the support of the other board directors and volunteers that fulfill the organization's goals.
Event Planning:
Coordinating, planning, and implementing events for fundraising and promotion of mental health initiatives in the community.
Legal:
Overseeing and advising on non-profit and charitable board governance, regulations, and laws.
